PolArt’s online e-commerce website THE STORE will require your name, contact information, address information and credit card information to accept, process and fulfill your order. PolArt fundraising events are ticketed through Eventbrite, so if you purchase a ticket online, you will be providing your personal data to Eventbrite.
Forms for expressing interest in participation in PolArt activities are created through Cognito Forms and Google Forms, so any personal information you enter will be provided to Cognito and Google, including but not limited to your IP address and browser information, and in the case of Google your Google user account name.
PolArt’s mailing list is operated through MailChimp, so if you sign up to our newsletter, you will be providing your email address to MailChimp.
PolArt operates a Facebook Page and an Instagram profile, if you like our Page or follow us, PolArt will receive limited visibility of your own profile as provided by Facebook and Instagram platforms, but PolArt does not provide those entities with any of your personal information.
How long PolArt retains your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so PolArt can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on its website (if any), PolArt will store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

Information supplied by mailing list subscribers is retained by PolArt as required to deliver information about the festival to you.
If you email PolArt, message PolArt via Facebook/Instagram or otherwise contact PolArt, it will retain the electronic records of the communication until it determines they are no longer required, which may be indefinitely.

Data within PolArt’s website is hosted in Australia, with redundant hosting in Singapore in the event of a complete loss of the Australian hosting. Other than the partners and suppliers identified, who have their own respective Privacy Policies that you can refer to for where data is sent, your data will be kept in various services that PolArt rely on to operate and these are hosted in Australia, Singapore, the European Union and the United States.
