Dr Bogumiła Żongołłowicz (Bogumila Zongollowicz) is a writer, poet, journalist, editor and documentalist. She has made significant contributions to the Polish-Australian cultural scene. Since 1991 and her arrival in Australia, she has been conducting biographical research and writing about post-World War II Polish immigrants in Australia. Her research has resulted in numerous publications both as author and editor. She has authored over a thousand articles, published throughout the world, and prepared entries for the Australian Dictionary of Biography and the Encyclopedia of Polish Emigration and Polish Diaspora. In 2019, she was awarded the Medal of Merit for Polish Culture. She is a member of Polish Journalists Association, Union of Polish Writers Abroad and Australian Society of Authors.
