Viewing of Strzelecki Letters as State Libray of NSW

Agatha Satala, President of PolArt Sydney, alongside Polish Literature coordinator, Ewelina Ellsmore presented a unique and rare preview of State Library collections at the Mitchell Library.

This intimate viewing showcased original and rare NSW State Library collections, including letters and transcripts of Sir Paul Strzelecki, where he chronicles his discovery of Mount Kosciuszko. The curator of the collection, Geoffrey Barker presented a series of items which holds great cultural significance to Australian-Poles.
